No really, I could have bought it, if it was written correctly.

I felt like I was watching some bodysnatchers interact instead.

I feel the same.

I didn't hate it at all and I think with better writing I could have really liked it, but what we got was... yeah. Annoyingly they did have moments I liked but then they ruined it with having three other people telling me 'how good they are together' rather than showing me how good Bruce and Natasha are together. A wtf with that bit with Nick at the end, that was some bizzaro-world shit right there.

The romance I could take or leave, but I'm not against it. I kind of liked the interactions and the building on Natasha's character, and the similarities between her and Bruce. But it would've worked better had the writers not jumped right into it, and allowed the two to develop a stronger friendship first.

I read a really good fic of them (long before the romance in AoU happened).
