My library had an ebook of the Tiger one (first in Dirk & Steele series), so I downloaded it and read it real quick this past weekend... was not impressed. :( Flat characters who all revolve around the heroine, cliche romance, jumbled plot that slowed to a crawl for the middle third, deus ex machina resolution of both antagonists (or at least, not much effort or engagement on the part of the characters to fix stuff)...

So I got The Iron Hunt which has been going better so far. Short choppy sentences. All over the place. Every chapter, written like this through the heroine's POV. Not sure how I feel about it.
