I agree. It's also just another way for straight people to try and wriggle under the "queer" umbrella somehow. There really is no difference between a very close friendship and a ~queerplatonic~ relationship. Anyone trying to vehemently disagreeing with this are people who can't bear the thought a deep friendship isn't something magical and oh-so-special.

(As an asexual person, I also very much resent people trying to make this into this big "ace visibility" thing.)
