I have never watched her show, and find it bizarre that she's suddenly all over Wal-Mart, but I shall buck the trend and say: i really love a lot of her recipes, i don't really care where they come from

She's all over Walmart because she's white and wealthy, but puts on a damn good show of being down to earth and "one of us". The fact that her marriage epitomizes super traditional gender roles doesn't hurt either, because her husband is the rugged alpha male rancher and she's the wifey who stays at home with the kids, turning out homey meals for the family. That's Walmart's bread and butter right there.
