Nope, because I don't have any money right now. I'll get stuff eventually when I get a new job, but it'll be late. Fortunately, I don't have a lot of people to shop for and they won't mind, so yay for that, at least :).

I did most of it back in October, so now all I need are a few bars of specialty soap and a couple bottles of specialty olive oil since we have extra people showing up for Christmas this year.

I'm still finishing my Mum's gift from last year, lol. Who knew blankets took so long to make? Plus I grabbed something for her when I visited Seattle. Same for Dad, + I'm going to start a sweater for him, so they're covered. Everyone else? Not a fucking clue.

My sister and I already have most done. I decided that I was sick of trying to think of something and then hoping Amazon delivers in time and started early. I wrote down every idea for presents that I had during the year (because I think of a thousand things to gift when I don't need them, but as soon as Christmas or birthdays approach I completely blank) and then I just decided with my sister what we would get from the list.

The only one left is my sister's because she doesn't know what she wants. :/

I've been shopping since September. I have all my Xmas gifts bought but I help my dad buy stuff for my mom and he's a late shopper so that's still on my to-do list. Now, I'm just waiting for the online stuff to arrive so I can wrap it all.

Mostly looking for deals for myself at this point. :)

I rly don't do Christmas. I bought a gift to my friends who shall take my Christmas-hating ass in for the holidays, more of a thank you for having me and sharing food than actual Christmas gift, and I need to go pick few things up for people who have birthdays around the time. So, almost done for December-related gift-shopping.

(my family hasn't bought me gifts since I turned 15, so they're not getting anything from me, and my friends know that I don't celebrate, so no pressure)

I've done all the ones for my family, because Chanukah starts next week. Except my brother-in-law, because he did not tell me what he wanted until it was too late to give it for him while he was here. So that'll ship sometime soon.

My friends and I do a Secret Santa (basically get one nice $20-30 gift for someone in the circle, rather than small gifts for 10+ people) and that hasn't been arranged yet. We usually exchange at NYE though, so there's time.

Then I have 2 December birthdays to shop for and then I'm done. I like to be on top of this shit.

Good news, I convinced one branch of the family to go "secret santa" this year for the adults. Bad news, I still have not gotten my slip so I still don't know who to buy for. Eight adults, five households, so even the "joint gift" stacks up.

It's not even my holiday so it's a game of keeping up appearances.

Yes, and I had to go to the dread Wal-Mart to do it. :# It's a long-distance gift, and they specifically requested Wal-Mart gift cards.

I start in July every year because that's when Hallmark starts selling their Christmas ornaments.

Otherwise, I've cut back on who I buy for and most people get gift cards from me so it doesn't matter when I start.

While my family does celebrate Christmas, we don't buy gifts any more. SO MUCH BETTER. Everyone gets together and visits, have some drinks and good meals. Way less stress, and it's made the season a lot more enjoyable.

I'm not buying anyone any presents this year, and I've requested that no one give me any presents either.

The whole thing just feels too ridiculous as an adult. I can buy anything I want for myself, and anyone I buy gifts for can buy things they want for themselves as well--and if I buy them something they don't want, then it would have been better to have just given them money so they could have gotten something they wanted.

I just don't see any point in it anymore.

Lol i'm doing a couple of secret santas, that's it this year. Everyone has been warned in advance incase they're hung up on equal gift gifing.

No! Because for the second year in a row my family and I have decided not to exchange presents this year. It's awesome. :)
