Mum and I are somewhat laid back about christmas shopping - I think her main present is going to be the teapot on laybuy at the pharmacy. Mine will probably just be cash, and chocolate.

Actually what we go all-out for is buying Christmas Day lunch. Turkey roast, baked vegetables (despite how ironic and against the weather that may be), with cheesecake for desert. Actually it's more like main course for lunch, desert for dinner (or in my case, leftovers from lunch for dinner with a little bit of desert).

We already have sweets, nibbles, drinks (sparkling grape and apple juice), and two frozen turkey roasts bought and waiting. What's left? Probably the cheesecake ingredients and fresh vegies (actually right now I don't even want to look at what potatoes we have (that aren't frozen), as they are old enough for me to be suspicious of them.
