This is kind of how I felt when everyone was creaming themselves over Daredevil, which I found boring.

Jessica Jones I liked a bit better but it definitely had a tendency to drag and took itself too seriously sometimes. I like Krysten Ritter but I will admit that she tended to struggle with the cheesy comic dialogue at times (someone just bring back Don't trust the B.)

Both this show and Daredevil had the problem of the dialogue and story being SUPER OBVIOUS. Everyone said what you'd expect them to say, the plot went exactly where you'd expect it to go. I hope both improve in the second season.

I liked Daredevil okay, but I didn't get the extent of the hype either. To me it was very typical. I liked JJ a lot better. Better characters, better story.

(Also for some reason I couldn't stand Foggy in DD, which put a damper on my experience.)

Daredevil felt like a chore to watch for me, I mainly kept watching it because everyone was saying how great it was and I kept waiting for it to get better and it didn't. It wasn't the worst but I didn't get the extreme love.

Jessica Jones I at least found interesting. Even as a short series I think it could have been half the episodes (like how many times we get repeat information and sometimes the search for David Tennant felt super long.) I actually kind of worry JJ will be worse in the second season though because DT was at least an interesting villain.
