maybe you only hear people talking about conventionally "hot" muscular bodies because that's what society has told them they can find attractive? and they're afraid their friends will call them pedos if they like slimmer/leaner bodies or freaks if they like chubby bodies? I and many others spent my teenage years agreeing with whatever bland celeb boy the other girls found hot, this is just a grown up version of that.
