A) I dislike Jessica Jones as a character and always have. Alias, the comic where she originated, is highly overrated in my opinion, and I can think of many lesser-known Marvel series that are far more deserving of being adapted to screen.

B) I don't care how tastefully its handled, I don't want to watch a fucking superhero show that's all about rape and recovering from rape and a villain who's a raping rapist rape rape rape rape rape-ity raping rape.

C) Seriously, of all the Marvel characters and teams who would make for great TV shows, why her? Why not Moon Knight, or She-Hulk, or Cloak & Dagger, or the Runaways, or Nextwave, or Namor, or Elektra, or Captain Marvel, or literally anyone else?

D) On that note, why is she getting her own show before Luke Cage? WHY? FUCKING WHY?

I'd be down for Moon Knight, but Daredevil kind of already did the rough-analogue-to-Batman thing.

So why not approach it from a different angle? Focus more on the Egyptian mythology aspects, or something.

I would pay obscene amounts of money I don't have for a Nextwave TV series, but only if Warren Ellis was again given complete free reign on it.

Because literally all of those (except maybe Elektra) are harder to do.

Moon Knight can't just be another Daredevil. It has to be good, and clever; the concept deserves that much.

The others sound FX-heavy. I love all those characters (except maybe Elektra) and I think they'd be a pain to do (except probably Moon Knight and Elektra) on a Netflix budget.

Jessica Jones is from an exceedingly crappy comic, but it's not that hard to do a treatment for TV, and actually improve on the source material, instead of not measuring up.

Oh, and also apparently Bendis has some kind of pull on what gets done, since GotG was based on his version of the characters? So there's that?
