Text: I was fannish about this for about a week, then I woke up one day with near zero fucks to give about this franchise.

I didn't care what happened next the in-progress fic I was reading.
And usually I check out the originals of adaptations or remakes I like, but I stopped wanting to for this.

I wasn't into it to get a trope/kink fix, or because of an actor, I was interested in the whole canon. Wasn't put off by wank, either.
It was just odd for it to be so sudden because this hadn't happened to me before.

I bought two pieces of this fanmade merch, thinking I could sell the other in the future when it's harder to find merch for the fandom. While waiting for it to come in the mail, I realised that was in ITS OWN CATEGORY OF STUPID because:
1. it's a thing that can be reproduced with the right equipment, and
2. the fandom embarrasses me, so I would have mixed feelings about displaying mine and listing the other for sale.

Text: A holiday exchange this year is the first time I'm joining a fic exchange. I thought it would give me motivation not to procrastinate because not only are people waiting for my finished work, it's something I'm doing for fun.

o.O It seems like you're making quite a to-do over something I honestly haven't heard anyone claim represents internalized homophobia for not doing?

And honestly if it squicks you it squicks you. You can't be faulted for that as long as you're not using that squick to make untoward unjustified statements about whole groups of people or to discriminate against them (compare with how the "ew buttsex" crowd has sometimes used to 'prove' why their homophobia is valid).
