Unimpressed. The more I see of this movie, the more I think it's going to be disappointing. I've never liked grim/dark, but the idea that you would go with grim/dark for SUPERMAN really bugs me. Wonder Woman looks stupid (still reserving judgment) and like she doesn't belong in this movie.

This trailer also seemed to give everything away. It really turned me off seeing the movie.

Is that really supposed to be Luthor? Yuck. Seems more like a cheap knock-off of Jim Carrey's Riddler.

I did not like this trailer at all. The music didn’t seem to fit the action on screen. The pacing was weird and disjointed. The humor felt forced and out of place. Lex Luthor is just...odd.

And why did they reveal so much? Everyone knows the movie will end with them working together, but did you have to show Doomsday? We didn’t have to see who they were fighting. And why show Wonder Woman’s entrance? That would have been great to see in the movie.

This trailer left me not wanting to see the movie. I loved the other trailer and teasers (DC might want to stick to the grim/dark aspect that they excel at) . Also, I think coming off the excellent Civil War trailer probably did not help.

It was originally entitled 'bucking the slacker student trend'. FUCK YOU BBC. I worked damn hard to get through University and hardly went out with my friends, and now you're making me feel bad that I didn't also work part time, run my own company and ski as a hobby.

This attitude seems to be omnipresent in every aspect of modern day life. Be the perfect parent with a perfect job, raising perfect kids, have the perfect body, hair, sense of style. Hell, even if you're ill then that's okay - so long as you bounce back and magically fix everything in your life to the point where you can become a feel good article on buzzfeed.

Anyone else getting annoyed with it?

It's a different take on A/B/O. Groups who work together settle status by fighting each other all at once; first one out of the ring is omega, last one standing is alpha. In this case, Clint is accidentally eliminated first and has to deal with his very first experience as omega.

I'm pretty sure it's on Ao3, but nothing I search for brings it up.

I have an interview on Saturday and I'm so nervous! I keep rehearsing what I'll say and planning my itinerary. I actually have to drive five hours to and from the interview when I'm really low on cash so I hope like hell things turn my way and I nail it - it pays about 4 times what I'm making now (part time minimum wage). Uggggggggggh, I could puke! I'm so fucking nervous!

I'm in a play, which opens tomorrow and closes Sunday. I'm not too worried about that. What I am worried about is the fact that I just volunteered to sing in the pre-show (which our director probably just invented last night because we heard nothing about this before today), and...well. I've always wanted to sing a solo on stage, but there's a reason I haven't, and that reason is fear. But I have a pretty good voice, and I picked a song I think I pull off well.

So uh.

So obviously I've seen this term bandied about a lot online, but what exactly does it mean? Why do some people think that being an SJW is good and some think it's bad? I always thought it meant being politically correct, but perhaps it's more extreme than that? I don't really know. I've always been too afraid to ask.
