Well, much like how you, a straight person, don't have the power to tell an asexual person that they're really just straight or gay, they also can't tell you that you're asexual. That's for you to decide, and while "straight" gets a bad rap, there's nothing wrong with it, so feel free to stand up for yourself.

Also, not talking to those people, as the other anon suggested, is a very good piece of advice. It might save you a lot of grief. People who can't accept what you are aren't worth your time.
