Meh.

Unimpressed. The more I see of this movie, the more I think it's going to be disappointing. I've never liked grim/dark, but the idea that you would go with grim/dark for SUPERMAN really bugs me. Wonder Woman looks stupid (still reserving judgment) and like she doesn't belong in this movie.

This trailer also seemed to give everything away. It really turned me off seeing the movie.

I actually don't mind the grim tone. I just couldn't stand the out of place humor.

My feelings are the same. I loathed Man of Steel. It was not a good Superman movie. I can't buy Gadot as Wonder Woman at all. Nothing about this movie interests me at all.

I'm down to watch it, though I'm getting David Goyer fatigue by this point.

I'm more keen to see Suicide Squad.

Is that really supposed to be Luthor? Yuck. Seems more like a cheap knock-off of Jim Carrey's Riddler.

Emphasis on the cheap.

The DCCU's schtick seems to be incongruous character casting. Though Lex did have a period where he had long hair in the 90s, so it's not TOO out of place.

I did not like this trailer at all. The music didn’t seem to fit the action on screen. The pacing was weird and disjointed. The humor felt forced and out of place. Lex Luthor is just...odd.

And why did they reveal so much? Everyone knows the movie will end with them working together, but did you have to show Doomsday? We didn’t have to see who they were fighting. And why show Wonder Woman’s entrance? That would have been great to see in the movie.

This trailer left me not wanting to see the movie. I loved the other trailer and teasers (DC might want to stick to the grim/dark aspect that they excel at) . Also, I think coming off the excellent Civil War trailer probably did not help.

Trailers always reveal too much in the US. It's kind of an annoying trend that's been around for a while now.

I'd like better superhero movies. Scripts with smaller scope would go a long way toward making the genre sustainable.

Track down a copy of Superman/Batman Annual #1. They spend the whole time snarking at each other, both in-costume and out, complete with a visit from Deathstroke on his first real job (it's a how-they-met story) and even a cameo from an unnamed Deadpool (different costume but it's so obviously meant to be him.)

Bruce insulting other caped dudes by saying they dress up as clowns when he dresses up as a BAT is just... I mean, at least superman is an alien, what's his excuse? My mind just can't wrap itself around the notion that Batman is cool. I mean... if you saw someone in a fursuit punching people and shit you would probably think they're a clown too.

I keep forgetting this is a thing that is actually happening, get reminded, and then forget again.

Batman's Nerf gun looked dumb.

Superman is Jesus some more.

And I don't even know what's going on with Luthor. Maybe he stole forty cakes (made of coke).

The more "true fans" of Superman decide they hate this franchise, the more I like it.

I think I might agree with you. I just don't understand all of the angst and woe. Can't we wait until we see the movie before deciding it's awesome/ terrible/ mediocre?

That is not Lex Luthor, but I actually don't mind the type of villain he's being it's just... not Luthor.

Also Doomsday now? Really? I was hoping we'd see him at some point just, not so soon, it feels too soon to use Doomsday. But this just means Darkseid is going to be the JL big bad, either straight-out or eventually.

I'll still see it because I don't mind the tone of the DC movies, it just feels like they're moving a little fast is all. I dunno, maybe it'll work out better in the final product. Though I do think this trailer showed too much.

Jesse is NOT Luthor. He seems to think he's the Riddler. Trying to do Luthor as this little dweeb is just......ugh

Also, they gave Batman a gun..?

Should have kept Doomsday for the movie proper.
