Re: controversial/confrontational/hostile/bitter opinions
(Anonymous) 2015-12-04 12:52 am (UTC)(link)Both sides will question your diagnosis, and how valid it is, both sides will guilt trip you one way or another, both sides will put words in your mouth and accuse you of saying things you never said. Both sides will try to make you look like the devil if you don't agree with their exact and entire manifesto. They'll also derail the argument like hell.
The only options seem to be "Everybody on the spectrum should want/have them " or "it shouldn't exist for anybody".
Re: controversial/confrontational/hostile/bitter opinions
(Anonymous) 2015-12-04 01:01 am (UTC)(link)Don't forget that both sides will treat you like some pity case or victim who doesn't know what's good for them so they have to decide.
"Want the cure? Oh poor baby you've been brainwashed by society to hate yourself and you just need to Love Yourself (TM)"
"Don't want the cure? What are you talking about? Obviously your life is only pain and burdens how can you not want to be fixed for the better?" And then you're either too delusional or too selfish to be able to make a decision.
