My favorites are the Cap films (yes, both of them) and the first Thor. They were both solid films that I've watched quite a few times. I'll admit that I'm super fond of Evans!Cap, but even beyond the casting and writing (I love Steve in the MCU so, so much) I thought they were a joy to watch. They stood by themselves better than most the other MCU films so far, imo.

GOTG is really entertaining, but it's obviously quite a bit different; the vibe is much lighter and funnier. GOTG is maybe my third favorite MCU film; the soundtrack was amazing and the cast is extremely lovable. I hope you like it! (I thought it was a bit slow in places, but I adored the cast so much that I was able to forgive that. Also, prepare yourself for unexpected feels.)

I don't mind slow. One of my favorite movies is Stalker, and that's a movie where almost nothing happens for 3 hours. ;)
