No, I'm not; I agree with the anon who said you are taking this way too personally.

Plus, as you said, you worked hard in college, so what makes you think "the slacker student trend" refers to you? Maybe it's about those people who drag through school in 6 years or more, miss any class that meets before 11 a.m., feel entitled to have a good time in school, never think about the issues of the day, spend Thursday through Sunday partying or sleeping it off, wear blackface on Halloween, and still think they deserve at least a B just for sucking up air and taking up space.
