I'm in a play, which opens tomorrow and closes Sunday. I'm not too worried about that. What I am worried about is the fact that I just volunteered to sing in the pre-show (which our director probably just invented last night because we heard nothing about this before today), and...well. I've always wanted to sing a solo on stage, but there's a reason I haven't, and that reason is fear. But I have a pretty good voice, and I picked a song I think I pull off well.

So uh.

Wish me luck. Because I'm doing this. >_

If you weren't ready for it, your director would probably have discouraged you. You will be fine. Get a good night's sleep, keep well hydrated, and don't overthink it.

I believe in you anon!!!! You're gonna sing that solo and do super duper great at it!!! Everyone's gonna give you a standing ovation and you'll be scouted by really cool band and then take the music industry by storm!!!! I just know it!!!!!

And if that doesn't happen, I'm still rooting for you!!!!!
