That said, character growth is not a bad thing. You're absolutely right. Character growth that's horribly mishandled and warps the character practically beyond recognition?

And yes, Mech Pilots. GyakuMECH... was me getting way in over my head. But it was fun while it lasted. And we had some great ideas. Just... I never wrote more than five chapters XD

Perhaps it was. Well, Godot was more cybernetic in GyakuMECH--the explosion that 'killed' him did quite a bit more damage than Dahlia's poison. Also, Dahlia had uploaded herself into an AI form after her death, and sort of lived on in Godot's mech/his visor, literally poisoning his brain 24/7.
I kinda love malevolent AIs. XD
...we had some great ideas :(
