That the judges of the UK's version of Masterchef and its variants (pro, celeb, Great Brit Menu) are really biased against female contestants and are way harder on them than the male ones to the point where you can basically predict the episode they are thrown out. I just don't see it at all.

I don't get that in cooking shows in general. Well, okay, occasionally I've felt one of the guest judges on Top Chef were biased. But mostly people are just not as good as the others around them.

Hmm I kinda see that. Just pay attention when people's cooking is described as homily or homestyle. Nine out of ten times they are describing a woman.
