My only fandom participation is to read fic about neither of these pairings, but hearsay is that the other side is just as nasty, it's just that the RinHaru fen are a tad louder about the bitching for the reasons detailed in the secret.

I personally wonder if so many people seriously thought any of theses pairings would be something more than tongue-in-cheek fanservice.
