Not gonna lie, my love for Hetalia's Poland is partially because I know my asshole Polish relatives would be horrified by the way he's depicted.

(And partially because I just like him. He's a fun character.)

mte what I liked was that the more Polish hetalians would draw Poland as The Witcher, Destroyer Of The Turks, Slayer Of Russians, Soccer Hooligan Basher Of The Gays, the more girly he was becoming in canon.

I came with this phrase from an art where Poland was holding a bat, wearing soccer get-up and was saying something about them damn homos in Polish.

So much of fandom gets super irritated when people draw Poland crossdressing. "HE'S ONLY DONE IT LIKE THREE TIMES."

He literally showed up at Lithuania's house on Christmas in a Santa themed teddy, JFC.

In Poland's most recent appearances he's been shown wearing a skirt in a set alongside the female characters, wearing a frilly lolita dress, and he wore skimpy pink lingerie with cat ears
