Well, there is Greece, Bulgaria and Romania in the comic but I really haven't seen any Balkan fighting from their fans/people from their countries in my years in the fandom. Surprisingly.

Manly!Poland advocates also got a boost from two Ukrainian BNFs on deviantart. That place was a goldmine for cringely Eastern European Hetalia.

Speaking of Ukranian, I don't think I've ever seen anyone criticize Ukraine's canon personality.

Not gonna lie, my love for Hetalia's Poland is partially because I know my asshole Polish relatives would be horrified by the way he's depicted.

(And partially because I just like him. He's a fun character.)

mte what I liked was that the more Polish hetalians would draw Poland as The Witcher, Destroyer Of The Turks, Slayer Of Russians, Soccer Hooligan Basher Of The Gays, the more girly he was becoming in canon.
