Not only are you weird, this behaviour is disgusting.

Giving pets fandom names is perfectly fine, but choosing a living being that will be your responsibility for several years on a choice as superficial as this is laughable. People like you are the reason animal shelters are overflowing with pets no one wants anymore after the first rush of excitement has worn off in the first place.
