No, I don't think anyone ACTUALLY cares. But when you're having a conversation with someone, you overreact and exaggerate just for the rapport and banter. If you tell someone you don't like chocolate and they say "omg, you're kidding! How is that possible?!?!" I guarantee they don't actually care and they aren't actually offended.

no I get that they're not actually offended (why I said faux offended) but its when people who know me and have known me and have known I don't like chocolate just. keep. doing. the same. gag. Like, please let it go.
