Yeah, I reached that point, too, though I can't remember when it was. Two seasons ago? Whenever the Jamie/Cersei kerfluffle occurred.

I stopped caring about the show, and then realized I had no more fucks to give about the books, either.

That's what did it for me too. I'll still love seasons 1-3. Book wise I really only love the first two.

Yeeeep. I bought the last book, but didn't want to read it once I had it and ended up mostly skimming. Not going to get future books.

The show is easier to keep up with, since it's fast and effortless to watch, yet I still don't really care what happens so who knows if I'll keep following it.
