Nothing bugs me as much as when a swear is dropped exactly once in an entire movie. That's how you know it was gratuitously put there just to make the rating higher than it would have been otherwise.

It's the opposite actually.

PG13 is allowed one single "fuck", so if there's only one, it means they held back the rest to make it lower, not higher.

Oh I know about the rule and that was exactly what I was thinking of. I meant, usually it's put into movies that would have been PG without the one "fuck."
