For the most part, if the swearing feels appropriate for the decided tone and setting of the show, I'm fine with it. That said, when I'm watching a show where I genuinely admire the protagonists, I tend to prefer that they keep their swearing to a minimum. A few well-placed curses can be awesome, but if they swear enough that they start to sound vulgar, it puts me off.
