Edge of Tomorrow

because I'm not so much a Cruise fan, but I did enjoy this.

Emily B. was good as the female lead, the premise was intriguing and well-handled (and allowing you to want to smack Cruise's character in the face at the beginning made the beginnign of the fil m very satisfying); and the inevitable romance angle was applied with a much lighter hand than I had expected.

(And some solid soundtrack music by Christophe Beck helped as well).

Edge of Tomorrow was surprisingly solid. Best acting I've seen out of Cruise in a while.

I also loved Edge of Tomorrow. I was actually sad that I did not watch it in theater!

I caught it on HBO in a hotel and found it surprisingly great.
