Okay. I'm stumped on how the second one is supposed to occur... The only example I can think of right now is my friend, who finds it difficult to have sex because of chronic pain issues and gets depressed even thinking about it, in which case... why would I want my partner to go through something like that?

Maybe someone has a medical condition. Maybe they find you hot but just really hate the actual act of having sex. Maybe they're away all the time because they're the captain of a scientific vessel exploring under the antarctic ice. Who knows?
