As a Brit, who should probably hate this show due to being British, it has been my jam for roughly the last 3 months. It's an epic revolutionary story, there's practically no perfect character, and can we talk about how good the music is?

And as you brought up Les Mis, that's precisely my argument for why it'll work over here. Our rivalry with the French gets put aside, and we all enjoy Les Mis for the story it tells. And In The Heights, LMM's other genius work is currently getting rave reviews and got a whole lot of nominations in the What's On Stage awards.

So yeah, I'm there for the West End previews, as soon as it makes the jump across the Atlantic. (And then Hamilton should "come home" to Scotland.)
