Someone confessed a couple of murders to me a long time ago. The gang-related and organized-crime sort or murders. I believed him, thought it was considerate of him to let me know, and we stayed good friends for a long time after. I guess that's fucked?

French person here, I loathe the right-wing extremists and am ultimately convinced that they're unable to govern. The facts that they built their electoral campaign on things that will not fall under the juridiction they're applying for, and that they don't even have an electoral program published anywhere, are proof enough that they just don't care about the job.
(Also, I pertain to several groups they promise to screw over if and when they get their hands on the power.)
And yet in a sort of trainwreck syndrome I almost wish that they will "win", then fail horribly at the job, and grind their new régions into the ground, and sink the country.
