I've got no problem with people headcanoning characters as whatever they want, however if they go around insisting that it's canon and you're some kind of bigot for not sharing their opinion it'll annoy me.

Same. Especially if I find out while watching the canon that, at best, there's nothing pointing to them being trans. (At worst? I've yet to see anything beat the so-called transperson being actually a crossdresser who felt horrible about presenting as another gender, but saw no other way to get away from the bullying for not fitting their actual one.)
