TBH, up until today, the only type I've hat I've ever made was chunky yarn + crochet = basic beanie, so about an afternoon, or so? I know I made this hat on my way to a camp, once, so around an hour or so? (I don't remember if I started in the car or not.)

However, I want to try and make this hat, which is knitting, thinner yarn, and something I've never tried before, so IDK. |D

Thanks! My Mum's blanket is first priority, but I'm hoping to work on it at least a little bit - I bought a "takumi interchangeable circular needle combo set" thing over black Friday, and I really want to play with it. |D

I've found youtube videos have been very helpful; youtube is the only way I've been able to figure out anything yarnwork recently. >>;
