I don't like anal at all. I don't like anilingus, either.

BUT IT'S EVERYWHERE RIGHT NOW. Or at least it feels like it is. And suddenly, there's all these young men who require anal sex in their relationships. Like, it's a dealbreaker for them if their gf won't do anal. WTF? When did that happen?

I hope this trend dies down soon, because I am not a fan.

It's not really new...

I dunno. When I started having sex 15 years ago, there wasn't nearly as much of an expectation for anal. Anal was extra, not obligatory.

Also horrible: guys who have a skewed perception of what "lots of lube" is, and then criticize you for needing more than other women.

Two things:
1. You're different from other women, and that's fucking alright
2. Those other women are putting up with not enough lube, god damn it.

And whining about how "you just need to relax" while seeking a sexual act they know damn well usually hurts you and you're apparently meant to put up with just to make them happy? The worst.

Man, I occasionally see people talk about guys being rude about girls needing lube (for anal or vaginal) and is like... I don't have sex with men and me and my GF are totally cool with lube, but its just kinda saddening to hear that people can be so negative about something that makes sex more comfortable? Lube is great however much you need.

I did, fortunately.

I came across a blog post once describing what to do to work up to anal with your girl. It was, at a minimum, a 3 month process, involving lots of cunnilingus and a very, very slow escalation of anal fingering. Like, the first time, you use one finger and don't even actually penetrate. The second time, you go up to the first knuckle. And so on and so forth, until you've gotten up to three fingers, fully inserted, while you're eating her out. Then, you take another week or so working up to actual penetration.

It was amazing, because it was all focused on making sure the woman is comfortable and experiencing pleasure at every step of the way. It was probably a little overboard with how slow it was, but better too slow than two fast.

I wish all guys approached it the way that guy does. I'd be more open to it if they did.

it's from porn, even "mainstream" straight porn has surprise anal scenes nowadays, it's now an expected sex act in a relationship. lots of teenage and young men growing up watching porn just assume that the ass is fair play, which is just great since none of those porn movies ever show lube so chances are they'll just decide to stick it wherever they want.

I love anal don't need lube don't mind the pain and it's a deal breaker if my partner isn't down for it. I'd say if you're not into anal sex, and your man tells you that not being into it is a dealbreaker... then breathe a sigh of relief, because he just did you a favor.

True, it seems a bit shallow to break up over something like that, but on the other hand, I think sexual compatibility is important too. Does it make sense to pair a missionary-only person with someone with creative kinks? Same thing with anal or no anal.
