You can have more than one type of friend. And sometimes you want a group of friends with the same interests AND the same gender. Not all the time, but sometimes.

Why would you specifically want a certain gender in your friends?

da, but I know the 'lol a transwoman totally is 100 percent a wominz u gaiz", but there are times where only a biological woman is going to know what you're experiencing as a bio-woman and vice versa. And yeah, the 'phantom period' people still aren't going to understand what a cramp feels like. Even I can't fully explain it! It's just like I'm never going to understand what testicle pain feels like or having 'blue balls'

If you can't fully explain it, then how do you know that your experience is a shared one with other women? They could be experiencing an entirely different cramp, that feels nothing like yours, and have no personal experience of what your cramps feel like at all.

That's if they even experience cramps.

It's just like I'm never going to understand what testicle pain feels like or having 'blue balls'

Yet some women speak of having a "blue clit" so they clearly experience a feeling that they perceive as analogous to "blue balls".

Right, so you're so PC you have to pretend sex doesn't come with gender specific bodily functions. Gotcha. Now back to tumblr-fairyland with you, I'm sure the real world is too bright and scary for you.

It's always amusing how a very obvious shut in reddit nerd talks like an expert of the ~real world~

Sorry that the real world is now slowly starting to treat trans people like human beings. Must be hard for your fee fees...

JSYK, there are "biological women" who don't have periods due to a medical condition. Like me. If you started bitching about periods at me I'd be just as unable to relate as a trans woman would.

nayrt, but of course there are women who don't have periods due to medical conditions. But that's the exception to the rule, and I don't understand why there always has to be a legalese disclaimer to make sure that every possible permutation of people's experiences are covered.

In most circumstances, if a woman wants to bitch about her period, MOST* other women are going to be able to empathize with the experience.

*Most, not all, some exceptions exist, etc etc etc

As would most men.

(Anonymous) 2015-12-14 02:29 am (UTC)(link)
Not really. Most men I've seen it mentioned around thought it was gross, I had one guy said it was 'unnatural' and said "blood...coming from there, eeeeugh" and would cringe. He was in his late twenties.

Gotta go with you here, anon.

No, they wouldn't. You're being delusional.

(Anonymous) 2015-12-14 12:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Just stop, you're embarrassing yourself.

(Anonymous) 2015-12-14 02:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Nice transphobia, you're piece of dried dookie :)
