How young are we talking about...?

Either way, they're kids. They'll grow out of it. It may take longer for some kids than others, but it'll proabaly happen eventually.
You probably can't remember, but I'm sure you acted just as childish when you were that age, hell knows I did. I'm pretty sure it's the same with most people.

Even if they do grow out of it. There is a problem to be addressed when they're hurling out serious accusations at adults who disagree with them or try to debate with them.

It's not cool to go around calling people pedos,'being a kid' or not.

But it's not the adults picking the fights, most of the time. It's the kids who start it, and then cry "abuse" when adults respond.

I have no idea how old most of the people I interact with online are, and I don't care. I judge people by what they post, and I respond accordingly.

SA. I try to check their bios myself (for some reason teens love putting their age up there), but it's true sometimes you can't know their age.

DA--no, I think OP has a point. I was in my thirties when i started participating in online fandom back in 98, and this behaviour is definitely new.
