That creeps me out too. I was terrified of giving out personal information when I was younger (probably because that's when the whole "the internet is a terrifying place full of serial killers and child rapists" idea was being hardcore spread and many "very special episodes" of television shows were being written about it). Hell, I still barely ever give out personal information online. I've never even posted a selfie tbh because I'm probably overly paranoid

Yeah, seriously. I don't think you're overly paranoid now, with swatting and every other goddamn thing. And the sheer amount of social media. I'd be too paranoid about irl people finding me.
