No Big Damn Kiss though. But yeah, they're a bit more obviously romantic than, say, Furiosa and Mad Max.

I thought Furiosa and Max had similar undertones at the end, but maybe that's just me.

The Pacific Rim duo had vague romantic undertones running throughout the film, though, which is why I'd say their relationship is more suspect. I see neither as fullblown romance though.
