anon is just analyzing subtext, a thing that literary critics have been doing for centuries

If you look hard enough, you can find subtext in anything. That's why so much shipping exists. It still says nothing of the writers' intentions.

There's a difference between "there's potential for these two to get together, based upon this scene" and "that scene happened BECAUSE these two are meant to be together!"
