I second the retro gaming suggestion. If you haven't played them before, there's still really good games on the SNES and GBA, and emulating those two nowadays is pretty straightforward. Playstation emulation is a little bit more annoying, but also really worth it.

Right now I'm trying to save for a gaming PC(I saved $$$$$ 0,00 so far), because the only consoles I have are PS3 and the 3ds. The ps3 is on it's last legs and Nintendo is trying really hard to push for a new handheld. The companies are not kind to poor people like us, OP. :^(
