I think a lot of people can't afford to game regardless of where they live.
It really sucks having a mac too. Mine was given to me as a gift, and it's a great computer, but my selection of games is very slim.

Also my ps3 is busted but my ps2 is still kicking. It's a good thing most of my favorite games are ps1 and ps2.

This. My little brother (only PC games) wants to get better computer/accessories because gaming is pretty much all he does anymore. My dad thought it would be a good xmas present; looked at prices, yeah, it's not happening.
