I became a (patient) PC gamer because of this. I can't do the console treadmill. There's always something new to buy and a new upgrade. $60 a whack, $400 for a new console every 3 years or so. Nah.

Wait until everything goes on sale on PC and Steam whenever possible. I look at places like reddit.com/r/patientgamers where people post links to sales and such. It helps. But I feel you!
