Re: Question for Bernie people here

I plan to vote republican if Bernie doesn't get it. Maybe if we have to suffer another Republican catastrophe it'll shake enough people to their senses to vote for his successor next time. I wouldn't vote Hilary, she is just as republican as the republican candidates and will only stain the brand by further association with them.

You are too stupid to vote and you should stay home.

It's not really about the individual candidates, it's about who they'll nominate for supreme court, and the last thing we need are more bought-and-paid-for justices like Scalia.

Well all the more reason to make sure Bernie gets the nom then, vote for him or I'll be happy to see a man who thinks Scalia is a raving lefty inherit RBG's seat. She ought to have retired last year to ensure Obama could put a leftwards justice in her slot anyway. Nominate Bernie or see the Democrat vote abandon the machine that crowned Hilary.

I don't like the idea of another Republican catastrophe but neither do I trust Hillary to avoid one, since she's as much of a war hawk listening to corporate sponsors as the others. I have no trust she'll keep to her campaign promises either considering how often she's changed stances in the past as her thoughts on issues "evolved" to be whatever is in favor at the time.

It's not enough to make me vote Republican, but it is enough to make me not vote Dem and support the DNC.

She's not AS MUCH of a war hawk as... really any of the non-Rand Paul foreign policy candidates. She's certainly quite hawkish but let's not go absolutely nutbags here.

Also, I would argue that political pressure from the left of the Democratic Party acts as a much more substantial, important block on her doing anything truly evil than would be possible with a Republican president. Which is important.

You must be a dude, because the female half of the population is scared shitless that Republicans will tax our vaginas. Even a shitty Democrat is better than the best Republican.

You mean a dude who is heterosexual, comes from a well-to-do family, and is likely white and Christian?

Could be from a poor, under-educated family, too. Nobody gets people to vote against their own self-interest like Republicans.
