I played a looot of Supermario and Pokémon. Also Tetris. Last Pokémon I got was black but I never finished it.

I played Tetris and Pokemon too (on Gameboy). Last Pokemon I had was Crystal. I disliked that you can't really fill out the codex in the game itself but I'm still 'trying to catch them all'.

I always hated that you needed to trade some of the bloody things. I'm a solitary gamer and I hate when games try to push you to co-op. I hated that Fable II for XBox had achievements you could only get together with another player.

Same. I bought a second gameboy used just so I could trade pokemon but when I learned that some of the pokemon could only be gotten from tournament play, it just made the whole thing seem so pointless. It's bad enough to need a second game to play off, but the likelihood of finding a tournament and then needing to participate in one was really annoying.

I think the whole idea behind it was to get kids to socialize, but it doesn't really work that way.

Or to make more money. You need to buy the cords to connect the gameboys and I doubt it was free to enter a tournament.

That bothered me too so I just got all the games and traded all the pokemon I needed to my main game, and the ones that only evolve when traded. I was determined to get them all on my own as much as possible.
