Might be a bit of an odd choice because I was a teen, but Tales of Symphonia. Mostly because at one point in my life, I'd play it for 2 hours a day after school... I invested a lot of time into it.
I still own the Gamecube version, but no working Gamecube. ;o; Newer Tales games have better battle systems but for the most part it didn't age too bad gameplay-wise. I still love the plot and all the main characters except Regal.

After that, Super Mario World and Yoshi's Island. afaik they are still awesome; they're at least spoken of fondly still. I don't own them and haven't played them in years, though.

I played Pokemon as a kid, but I never stopped playing Pokemon, so tbh it doesn't even have nostalgia factor for me.

Aw, why not Regal? Haha, he wasn't my favorite either, but I liked him well enough.

Zelos/Lloyd remains one of my all-time OTPs, though.
