Well like I don't think anyone who identifies as "trans" or supports "trans" rights disagrees with the root of what you're saying? You shouldn't have to do that. But too many other people don't get it and that's why the "trans" qualifier came about. Blame the society that decided sex and gender were the same thing, not the people who needed a label to escape from that.
