I understand that. I had a discussion with a lesbian who hated the word queer being applied to her. She wants to be called a lesbian and always refers to queer organizations as lgbt+.

I use bisexual and queer interchangably but not pansexual. The words we use to describe ourselves are important.

As long as you are okay with other people using the word trans when talking about themselves, it's all cool.
