I'm cis, but I agree with you 100%

In fact, I have always found "trans" rather rude per se.

IF someone wants to talk about their transition and even want to use that word for some reasons that's ok, but other than that? A trans-man IS a man just like a trans-woma IS a woman, so the "trans" part is unnecessary.
