Re: Nostalgia Games

Mega Man V (Gameboy) AKA Rockman World 5, had since I was 8. Never could beat a certain Stardroid but I don't care because I'll beat that furball one day. And then...Dr. Wily's ass is mine. Yes. I have had that game for 20 years and I am unashamed of it.

Gunstar Heroes for the Sega Genesis. If my Genesis hadn't died, I would still be playing that game. I swear it pushed the Genesis to the limits at its time. I still fucking love it. Still. Fucking. Love it. With the 3DS update to it, I actually fell back in love with it.

The Lion King game for Genesis as well. Though it wasn't Stampede that got me. IT WAS FUCKIN' ELEPHANT GRAVEYARD and HAKUNA MATATA.

And the PS2 era DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi games...Somehow they hold up well to me? Well, as good as a PS2-era game holds up? Xenoverse still blows them out of the water but still.

If only the King of Fighters: Maximum Impact games would have aged as well...
