Basically, I tried to get into an art school type thing, I happened to get a glimpse at the other applicants' work, and came to the conclusion that compared to them, I suck. The hilarious thing is that I actually did get accepted to the school, eventually (but it was only because some other applicant dropped out and there was a free slot).
I have been trying to coax myself into gear lately; I've been sketching and doodling the other character when I have empty hands and nothing to do. The character in question is rarely drawn by anyone in the fandom, as he's deemed to be hard to draw. So I figure if I can get myself to draw him even halfway well, the rest will be smooth-ish-esque sailing.

Please come back to the fandom. Don't think I ever saw your work, but I'm in full support of your crack pairing and would like to see more of it.
As for art, eh. Some people will always be better, or always be worse than you. Don't let it bring you down :)
